With this new release we welcome one more distinguished performer to the SOMM catalogue – Cellist Karine Georgian accompanied on this CD by Jeremy Young in repertoire which is close to her heart. She was a student of Rostropovich at the Moscow Conservatoire and they remained close until his recent demise.
