Three major works for piano by the Romanian Enescu, the Moravian Janacek and the Hungarian Kodaly performed on this CD with great clarity and finesse by the young pianist Nicola Meecham. Her long-held affection for the folk-inspired music of Eastern European composers has inspired the programme presented on this disc.
